New channelings for a New Age and the changing face of ascension

DISCERNMENT
I connect with the energy of Hilarion through meditation, thus opening up my upper chakra centers in order to connect to the 'Mind of God'. Before and after every channeling, I never assume that I have a special connection with Spirit, or a connection that grants me utter protection from incorrect communications and/or from lower astral entities. I never assume that the information that comes through me is special or for I am only a human being, humbly serving a Higher Intelligence. It is important to me that you understand that I do nothing that cannot be done by others, for spiritual gifts have been bestowed upon all human beings for one purpose or another.
I always "test the spirits" as written in the Bible, to make sure that it is Hilarion, or a High Level Guide (usually mine or the querent's) that has established the connection. There is a process that I follow for achieving this.
(1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 Thessalonians 5:19-
Here are some questions and answers that Master Hilarion has kindly answered for me to elucidate the issue of spiritual discernment in channelled material for those who are interested.
Question: Can you please comment on mediums who ignore the existence of the dark side of spirituality?
HILARION: Beware of channellers who do not acknowledge the Principle of Duality, who do not recognize that opposites exist. The Spirit world holds the greatest light, but also the greatest darkness, and for those who have closed eyes, unable to see nor acknowledge this, the lesson will be forced upon them. They abuse their role by giving false teachings to those in need, and their words are nothing but flattery, their eyes are dazzled by the artificial light of the lower astral. They are blinded by pride, for they believe that only the Highest Sources speak through them, and God cannot use the blind to make known the Light.
Question: If those who need to learn the lesson of discernment are attracted to channellers who cannot tell the simulated light of the "darkness" from the real light of God, then is it correct to assume that some of them may be channeling lower astral entities for people, who need to have that lesson of discernment forced upon them, as they do?
HILARION: You have answered your own question.
Question: Isn't it wrong for people to be so indiscriminate, not least when they call themselves channelers, for people are more easily hurt and swayed by their false teachings?
HILARION: At your level of experience yes, it is correctly seen as being 'wrong', although at our level of consciousness and perspective upon earthly matters 'right' and 'wrong' do not exist, for these exist merely lessons of difference for souls at varying stages of spiritual evolution.
Questiont: Are you implying that these channellers are doing undiscerning people a favour?
Hilarion: No, they are used to teach them lessons. This does not exclude them from
the all-

On this issue Simon and I feel that it is appropriate to quote the Bible in matters of discerning spirits (Also see article "Spiritual Gifts"), for the Bible makes reference to that which exists and was more widely acknowledged in those times. We should not forget that many of the passages within the Bible (original versions) were channeled from spirit.

As you may have noticed, this is an issue that has caused many people to make life-
We believe in acting with the utmost integrity and we will never publish material that either promotes discord, or mass destructions of entire nations who are "not to be mourned". A High Level guide, like an Ascended Master, is discerned by the quality of His messages; they never give orders nor advocate wholesale death and disaster (especially based on what country the person is born into), they never excite fear, gloom in their readers. Only inferior spirits are eventually betrayed by their language and intent of their messages.
Grace Cooke, another channel of Hilarion and White Eagle, founder of the White Eagle Lodge, writes about this matter in her book The New Mediumship:
"Such messages can be misleading and mischievous, and even wreak havoc. By and large, no evolved spirit would ever interfere with a person's freewill choice or force him to make drastic changes in his material life []

For these reasons Simon and I treat channeling with the utmost caution and respect. For us, it is a life mission to be performed with the utmost integrity. You will find a discernment disclaimer on Simon's and my channelings on MasterHilarion.com and a code of ethics that we abide by. No one, not even the greatest channellers of the 20th century are immune from inaccuracy, (remember, Edgar Cayce became famous because he was right 80% of the time, not 100%) and pride in assuming otherwise is the first flaw that inferior spirits tune into to for their own use and motives. In doing so they influence the channeller's connection or 'clarity' and thus the material transmitted.
On this note, we feel appropriate to quote the words of the founder of the spiritist movement, Allan Kardec, from The Mediums Book:
"Let us now go on to consider the mediumistic faculty when fully developed; let us
suppose the case of a medium who writes easily, and is able to enter freely into
communication with various spirits. Arrived at this point of development, he would
make a great mistake if he supposed himself to be able, on that account, to dispense
with all further enlightenment ; for he has only vanquished the physical obstacles
to medianimity, and is, in fact, just entering upon the real difficulties of mediumship.
It is now, when he is just entering on the work of mediumship, that he most requires

Channeling Ascended Masters is an issue of great importance in today's age. Master Hilarion being one of them, never named names in regards to false prophets, but gave guidelines to discern channelled material for those who have eyes to see, and that is because He did not want to remove the lesson of discernment. Almost two decades after this information was given to us by Hilarion, he (or more accurately, his collective group consciousness) has revealed to us additional information on the subject of discernment, information that is provided to a new age and generation of spiritual seeker.
